Abstract

This study developed a Google Sites-based Educandy game learning media to improve critical thinking skills in history for grade XI MA Ar-Rohmah Suren. Using the ADDIE Research and Development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the study involved 28 students on the topic of Events Surrounding the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence. Instruments included observation sheets, expert validation, student questionnaires, and Pretest-posttest critical thinking tests. Data analysis used Shapiro-Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain calculation. Results showed the media was highly feasible based on media expert (89.5%) and material expert (91.2%) validation. The paired t-test revealed a significant difference between Pretest and posttest scores (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The average N-Gain value was 0.62 (moderate category), proving the media's effectiveness in enhancing critical thinking. Student responses were positive with an average of 3.44 (Agree category). This study concludes that the Google Sites-based Educandy game media is effective and feasible for history learning to improve students' critical thinking skills.
