This study aims to examine the relationship between the implementation of the Make a Match learning model and students' learning activeness in history subjects, particularly among eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Ujung Batu. The study was motivated by the still relatively low level of students' learning activeness in history classes. This study employed a quantitative approach using a correlational research design. The population consisted of 173 eleventh-grade students, with a sample of 63 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires designed to measure the Make a Match learning model (X) and students' learning activeness (Y) as variables. The research instruments met the requirements of validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, linearity tests, and Pearson Product-Moment correlation analysis. The normality test results showed significance values of 0.193 for the Make a Match learning model variable and 0.200 for the students' learning activeness variable, both greater than 0.05, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The linearity test produced a significance value of 0.276 (>0.05), indicating a linear relationship between the two variables. The Pearson Product-Moment correlation test yielded an r value of 0.756, indicating a positive and strong relationship between the Make a Match learning model and students' learning activeness. It can therefore be concluded that the better the implementation of the Make a Match learning model, the higher the students' learning activeness in history learning among eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Ujung Batu
