Publication Frequency

Jurnal Crystal: Publikasi Penelitian Kimia dan Terapannya (e-ISSN: 2685-7065) is published twice a year, in March and September. The journal has followed this schedule consistently since its first issue in March 2019.

  1. Volume and Issue Structure
  • Each calendar year constitutes one volume consisting of two issues:
    • Issue 1: published by the end of March;
    • Issue 2: published by the end of September.
  • Each issue normally contains 5 until 30 articles, or 10 until 60 articles per year.
  1. Submission and Scheduling
  • Manuscripts may be submitted at any time throughout the year.
  • Manuscripts received by 01 April are normally considered for the September issue, and manuscripts received by 01 October are normally considered for the March issue.
  • Meeting these dates does not guarantee publication in a particular issue. The issue in which an article appears depends on the completion of peer review, revision, and production.
  • Peer review and revision usually take 1–3 months from submission to decision, as described in the Peer Review Process. Articles accepted after an issue is complete are scheduled for the next issue.
