Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis korelasi renang dan hipotermia pada anak.  Penelitian ini merupakan cross sectional meggunakan SPSS dan korelasi spearman dengan 100 partisipan yaitu anak yang berenang minimal 1x dalam 1 minggu. Hasilnya olahraga renang dapat meningkatkan kejadian hipotermia sebanyak 57,2% pada anak apabila dilakukan terlalu sering dengan durasi lama dan kondisi tubuh anak yang kurang sehat. . Upaya yang bisa dilakukan adalah melakukan pemanasan dan 30-60 menit sebelumnya bisa mengonsumsi makanan seperti buah, roti atau biscuit.  Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan bisa melakukan observasi lapangan dengan membandingkan antar 2 kelompok yang mendapat perlakuan serta tidak dapat perlakuan khusus.
