ANALISIS LATIHAN INTENSITAS DENGAN INTERVAL TERHADAP PENINGKATAN VO2MAX PADA PEMAIN SEPAKBOLA BHAYANGKARA FC
Abstract
Sepak bola merupakan olahraga dengan intensitas tinggi. Atlet sepak bola mempertahankan kemampuan fisik dan fisiologisnya dengan intensitas tinggi untuk waktu yang lama (dalam waktu normal selama 90 menit). Latihan rutin memiliki efek terbatas pada peningkatan kapasitas paru, sehingga metode latihan tertentu sangat bisa meningkatkan kapasitas paru dalam diri seorang atlet. Umumnya, semakin tinggi VO2max (kapasitas maksimal paru dalam mengkonsumsi oksigen), maka aerobik dan daya tahan kardiorespirasinya semakin baik. Latihan yang berhubungan dengan VO2max berprinsip pada intensitas yang dilakukan atlet dan lamanya masa pemulihan intermitten (jarak istirahat antara per set nya), dan intensitas intermiten). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebugaran pemain sepak bola tim Bhayangkara FC melalui parameter VO2max. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 25 pemain Bhayangkara FC. Instrumen tes yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah MFT (Multistage Fitness Test) dengan metode Yo-yo Test. Dari hasil data di atas menyatakan bahwa nilai signifikansi <0,05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre-test dengan post-test. Kesimpulannya adalah ada peningkatan VO2max secara signifikan pada pemain Bhayangkara FC. Latihan dengan intensitas – interval mempengaruhi daya kerja kardiorespirasi di dalam tubuh sehingga konsumsi oksigen di dalam paru-paru menjadi maksimal.
