FOCUS AND SCOPE

The TRANSFORMASI: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika & Matematika is a national peer-reviewed journal that advances research on mathematics education and mathematics. Mathematics education constitutes the journal’s principal field, while selected research in mathematics is considered when it offers a substantial original contribution and demonstrates relevance to education, mathematical practice, interdisciplinary inquiry, or the broader development of mathematical knowledge.

TRANSFORMASI: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika & Matematika publishes research that develops, tests, extends, or challenges theories, methods, instructional approaches, assessment practices, and policies in mathematics education and mathematics. Manuscripts must present a clearly defined scholarly problem, engage critically with relevant international literature, apply methods appropriate to the research questions, and explain how the findings advance existing knowledge.

This journal is primarily intended for a national readership, but it may also serve as a reference for an international audience. It welcomes research from diverse geographical regions, educational systems, cultural settings, and levels of education, provided it falls within the scope of mathematics learning or application of mathematical theory. Studies conducted within a limited scope may be accepted if they address a problem relevant to the broader scientific community and clearly articulate the significance of their findings, whether in terms of theory, methodology, policy, or educational practice, beyond the specific context of the research itself.

Implementation of learning strategies, methods, or models.
Analysis of various mathematical abilities.
Development of various learning materials (modules, lesson plans, media, learning resources, etc).
Analysis or development of various mathematical thinking skills.
Evaluation of mathematical learning.
