This study examines the effect of the use of the Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning model, animated audiovisual media, and discovery learning on motivation to learn Social Sciences. Initial observations indicate a lack of student enthusiasm caused by the use of a teacher-centered learning model. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design or survey involving students in grades IV, V, and VI with a total of 64 students. Quantitative data were collected through a questionnaire instrument to measure research variables that have been tested for validity and reliability. Qualitative data from observations to observe the learning process, interviews to gather teacher information, and documentation to strengthen the data. The results showed that the average gain in student motivation was relatively high where the variable (X1) cooperative learning model (39.84), variable (X2) animated audiovisual media (40.19), variable (X3) discovery learning (39.84), and variable (Y) motivation to learn social science (40.02). The average gain in learning motivation is supported by the F test of 113.402 with a Sig level of 0.000. The findings of this study confirm that the combination of learning models and media provides a strong and effective contribution to increasing motivation to learn social sciences. Thus, this study demonstrates the importance of integrating innovative learning models and utilizing appropriate learning media as a strategic effort to increase student motivation.
