Prevalensi Cedera Olahraga pada Atlet Finswimming PRA-PON 2023
Abstract
Finswimming merupakan olahraga renang yang menggunakan alat bantu fins dan snorkel. Olahraga air memang memiliki prevalensi cedera olahraga yang rendah, tetapi risiko cedera olahraga itu masih tetap ada. Saat ini belum banyak penelitian yang mengidentifikasi cedera olahraga pada finswimming. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi cedera pada finswimming. Desain peneilitian yang digunakan yaitu desain deskriptif dengan tujuan cedera-cedera yang dialami oleh atlet finswimming. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 30 atlet finswimming yang mengikuti training center PRA-PON 2023. Rata-rata usia atlet finswimming 21.07 tahun dan telah menekuni finswimming selama 7 tahun, mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan (60.0%), mayoritas berada pada kategori monofis surface (58.8%). Didapatkan tiga regio tubuh yang paling sering mengalami cedera yaitu pergelangan kaki, lutut, dan pinggul (11.1%). Ditedapatkan tiga jaringan yang paling banyak mengalami cedera yaitu otot, ligamen, dan tendon. Cedera pada finswimming disebabkan karena overuse, pengunaaan teknik yang tidak tepat, dan kurangnya fleksibilitas dan kekuatan pata otot dan sendi pada regio tubuh bawah dan ekstrimitas bawah.
