PENGARUH LATIHAN ISOMETRIC SQUAT TERHADAP DAYA LEDAK OTOT GASTROCNEMIUS PADA PEMAIN SEPAKBOLA LIGA 2 INDONESIA
Abstract
Pemain sepak bola harus memiliki teknik yang benar dalam bermain sepak bola, salah satunya menendang bola. Dengan demikian, tendangan yang dihasilkan oleh seorang pemain sepak bola harus keras, kencang dan tepat sasaran (terarah). Daya ledak otot tungkai dapat dilatih dnegan menggunakan latihan isometric squat sehingga latihan tersebut dapat meningkatkan kualitas otot tungkai. Dengan kekuatan otot yang meningkat, pemain sepak bola dapat memiliki dasar yang lebih kuat untuk melakukan gerakan-gerakan seperti tendangan, berlari, dan menggiring bola. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan isometric squat terhadap daya ledak otot gastrocnemius pada pemain sepakbola Liga 2 Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen, melalui pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Seluruh populasi tim kesebelasan PSCS Cilacap sejumlah 22 orang. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen tes berupa Standing Broad Jump Test untuk mengetahui kekuatan dan kecepatan otot tungkai (gastrocnemius). Dari hasil data menyatakan bahwa nilai signifikansi >0,05 ditunjukkan dengan angka 0.709. Test value di angka 240 cm sebagai ambang batas nilai minimal dari norma Standing Broad Jump Test bagi seorang pemain sepak bola. Kesimpulannya adalah latihan isometric squat efektif dalam mencapai hasil maksimal ditinjau dari daya ledak otot gastrocnemius.
