Zetroem: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmiah was established as an academic initiative by lecturers of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Banyuwangi. In order to provide a scientific forum for lecturers, students, and researchers to publish their research findings, the management of Zetroem initiated the publication of an academic journal entitled Zetroem. The journal was officially established on February 15 and is published by the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Banyuwangi.

Zetroem: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmiah is published twice a year, in March and October. The first issue of the journal was published in Volume 1, Number 1, March 2019, with ISSN 2656-081X (Online).

Currently, Zetroem: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmiah has been indexed in Sinta , Google Scholar and GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital).
