JEEE is a research journal that accepts scientific articles from experts and researchers from both industry and academia. Journal of Educational Engineering and Environment is a periodical journal published twice a year in May and December which contains various articles in the form of research, systematic reviews, and case studies with a focus on industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, and engineering education as well as related topics.
https://ejournal.unibabwi.ac.id/index.php/JEEE/article/view/4689 Penilaian Tingkat Kerentanan Air Tanah terhadap Pencemaran dengan Menggunakan Metode DRASTIC di Kecamatan Jogoroto Kabupaten Jombang 2025-02-13T08:19:57+00:00 Em Rafif Sultan Alfaridzi rafifalfaridzi11@gmail.com Hari Siswoyo hari_siswoyo@ub.ac.id Rini Wahyu Sayekti rini_ws@ub.ac.id
There are more than 70 small tofu factories in the Jogoroto District, which generate a large amount of liquid waste
from tofu processing that has not been treated optimally. This certainly creates a potential for the waste to contaminate
groundwater in the Jogoroto District. The assessment of groundwater vulnerability to contamination can be conducted using
the DRASTIC method, which involves 7 parameters. In this study, there are 24 dug well points spread across the entire Jogoroto
District, which were monitored periodically over a 5-month period, from July 2023 to November 2023. Based on the resulting
groundwater vulnerability distribution map, laboratory tests on groundwater quality were carried out, using parameters from
the Minister of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023 concerning clean water and the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 5 of
2014 on effluent quality standards. The study found that the DRASTIC index value during the research period ranged from 140
to 212, with three levels of vulnerability: moderate, high, and very high. The high vulnerability level dominated the study area.
However, based on the validation results, it was found that the groundwater quality in the Jogoroto District, Jombang Regency,
is not contaminated.
2024-12-29T04:16:13+00:00 Copyright (c) https://ejournal.unibabwi.ac.id/index.php/JEEE/article/view/4878 Light Sensor Based Automatic Lamp Simulation Using Proteus 2025-02-14T05:50:26+00:00 Ibnu Saputro ibnoe.ajae2@gmail.com
Automatic lights with light sensors are lights that can turn on and off automatically without using a switch. The light sensor in automatic lights works by converting light quantities into electrical quantities. The working principle is that when the sensor detects the presence of light, the light will turn off, and vice versa. Here are some of the benefits of using automatic lights with light sensors: Save energy and reduce electricity bills, Increase comfort, Reduce the need to adjust lighting manually, Save labor and time. Light sensors work by utilizing the principles of electric current and resistance. When light hits the sensor, the resistance will increase or decrease according to its position, thereby regulating the current
2025-02-14T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://ejournal.unibabwi.ac.id/index.php/JEEE/article/view/4877 Motor Speed Control Using IC Timer 555 Based on Proteus Software Simulation 2025-02-14T05:54:30+00:00 Suherman 14suherman06@gmail.com Ulfa Dina Zakia ulfadinazakia@gmail.com
This simulation aims to determine the effect of the percentage of potential resistance on the waves produced from a dc motor circuit using IC 555 as a wave generator. The simulation results show that the smaller the percentage of potential resistance, the faster the RPM on the motor with the greater the voltage and amperage on the motor. The resulting wave has a very strong influence on the potential resistance, the smaller the resistance, the longer the wave produced by the IC 555 will be and will have a relatively short density. Analysis shows that changes in resistance percentage affect the voltage, amperes, RPM and waves on the motor
2025-02-14T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://ejournal.unibabwi.ac.id/index.php/JEEE/article/view/4874 Prototype of Integrated Power Meter & Automatic Power Factor Controller for Optimizing Electric Power Quality 2025-02-14T08:07:17+00:00 Bagus Pramono bagus.pramono01@gmail.com
The increasing focus on energy efficiency highlights the need for improving electrical systems, particularly regarding power factor optimization. This study develops a prototype Integrated Power Meter & Automatic Power Factor Controller using an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The system measures electrical parameters, including reactive power, voltage, and current, in real-time. It automatically adjusts power factor by activating capacitors based on system requirements. Testing reveals significant improvements, with power factor enhancement by over 20% and reduced reactive power by up to 80%. The prototype demonstrates potential for application in industrial settings, offering an effective solution for energy management.
2025-02-14T08:07:17+00:00 Copyright (c)
